Are you on the list?

Check to make sure you're on the list of electors for the 2024 Municipal and Conseil scolaire acadien provincial Election by Aug. 30.

Every four years, the Halifax Regional Municipality holds a general election for both Regional Council and the Conseil scolaire acadien provincial's (CSAP) Halifax-area school board members.

The next Municipal and Conseil scolaire acadien provincial Election is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024.

The upcoming general election will allow eligible residents to vote for their choice of:
- Mayor
- Councillor within their district (16 total)
- Conseil scolaire acadien provincial Member (if applicable)

While municipal and school board elections across Nova Scotia are governed by the Government of Nova Scotia, the Halifax Regional Municipality's elections are managed by the Office of the Municipal Clerk.
